We had a chance to stay at Bertrands RV park in Ridgecrest CA. It's halfway between LA and Mammoth, a nice place to take a break from the road. The spaces were not drive through, but there is plenty of space. The staff was excepetionally accomidating and we enjoyed the visit. If you are traveling to Mammoth or Death Valley, take a break and stay at Bertrands. $20 per night, all hook ups included. For Reservations call - 760-377-4000, Hwy 178, Inyokern CA.

Saving money while having a great time...
Here's a idea I bet some of you haven't thought of... Start with a a Business License and then create a website / webzine that pertains to your favorite past times. By doing this you make all your recreational fun, LEGALLY TAX DEDUCTABLE! Whats more is that if you do a good job reporting and reviewing various products or services; you may begin to receive products before the public! Thats right! Companies will want you to review their products in your publication. You may also get VIP treatment at events, trade shows, races, etc... Call ahead and ask for a "Press Kit", You will likley receive free meals, goodies, etc. You never know what you might receive.
All you ned to do is keep accurate books, provide worthwhile information, do a quarterly return, and archive every issue. Don't take my word for it, ask your accountant..
